(CNN) -- A murder suspect who broke out of jail over the weekend was occupied Sunday, hidden among lofty weeds at a pond near where he grew up, said McClain County, Oklahoma, Sheriff Don Hewett.

Squads of sheriff's deputies and state troopers had mounted house-to-house searches nigh Blanchard, Oklahoma, looking for 27-year-old Shaun Bosse.

"He attempted no resistance and he is in custody at this time," Hewett told correspondents.

Investigators said Bosse overpowered two guards and stole 1 of their cars while he broke out of jail in Purcell, south of Oklahoma City, on Sunday morning, McClain County Undersheriff Bill Shobe said.

Sheriff Hewett told CNN that the Pontiac Grand Prix was found near Blanchard,Cheap Supra Shoes UK, about 25 miles west, on Sunday afternoon, and a spectator smudged him escaping away from the car.

According to court documents, Bosse told investigators that he and Griffin had been dating for about two weeks, KOCO said.
